The confidence score on each report reflects input quality (photos, metadata, certification) — high-confidence reports consistently outperform expert estimates in blind tests.

Expert reviews are performed by certified gemologists on our desk (GIA, FGA, AIGS). They re-grade the stone, validate origin assumptions, check for treatments the AI may have missed, and issue a final trade-grade valuation. Cost is 5 credits per review, turnaround is 4 hours for Pro, 24 hours for pay-as-you-go. Request one when the stone value exceeds $10,000, when confidence is below 70%, or when you're buying from a new counterparty.

Pay-as-you-go credits never expire. Subscription credits roll over for one billing cycle, then reset. We issue full refunds on unused credits within 30 days of purchase — no questions asked. Used credits are refundable only in cases of engine error or service outage. See our refund policy for edge cases.

Pro plans include 10,000 requests/day across valuations, vault access, and marketplace endpoints. Elite plans get unlimited API calls plus webhook automation and white-label report generation. All endpoints return JSON and are documented at docs.gemfinity.io. We provide official SDKs for Python, Node.js, and Go.

Verified Trader status is automatic after 5 successful valuations and identity verification. Authorized Dealer tier requires a business KYC review, minimum $50K annual GMV, and two references from existing Authorized Dealers. Applications are reviewed weekly by our compliance desk — typical turnaround is 7 business days.

Your vault is encrypted at rest and accessible only to you. Gemfinity employees cannot view individual reports without explicit permission (granted only during expert reviews or support tickets you open). We're GDPR, CCPA and India DPDPA 2023 compliant.
